Eric Nolan surrendered his post-fight interview slot to Court McGee at UFC 332, letting the retiring veteran address the crowd instead of claiming the mic himself.

Nolan, who won the welterweight bout, told reporters afterward that McGee's decade-and-a-half tenure with the promotion warranted the gesture. Per Sherdog, Nolan said he would normally seize the opportunity to talk after a win, but McGee's status changed the calculation. "If you spend 16 years in the UFC, you're a badass," Nolan explained, adding that he would speak his piece after McGee had his moment.

McGee's Final Fight Capped Long UFC Career

McGee used the microphone to confirm his retirement, closing out a UFC run that began in 2010. The 40-year-old welterweight went 11-11 inside the Octagon and became known for his durability and willingness to take on any opponent on short notice.

Nolan moved to 13-3 with the victory and acknowledged that any other result would have seen him take the mic immediately. The gesture drew praise on social media, with former light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira among those sharing the clip.

Nolan has not announced his next booking. McGee told the crowd he planned to stay involved in coaching after leaving competition.
