PFL Charlotte, the ninth card of the 2025 PFL World Tournament, is almost here. Thursday morning, the fighters on tomorrow night’s card tipped the scales in The Queen City of Charlotte, NC.

Bojangles Coliseum serves as the setting for the Friday night MMA spectacular. Live coverage of PFL Charlotte can be seen gavel-to-gavel inside the United States on ESPN (linear television) and ESPN+. If you’re watching internationally, DAZN will carry the show live.

Early card action kicks off at 6:30 pm ET/ 3:30 pm PT on Friday night, with the late card, including the three title fights at the top of the bill, following at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT. All 10 fights on the schedule are confirmed to go ahead.

PFL Charlotte Showcase Fighter Exceeds Weight Thursday Morning

There was, however, one bauble that took place on the scales earlier this morning. While tomorrow’s showcase fight in the featherweight ranks between Damion Nelson (149 lbs) and Isiah Diggs (146 lbs), a postponed fight from PFL Atlantic City on Aug. 1, will take place here, the former fighter exceeded the contracted weight by 3 lbs and will thus cede 20 percent of his wages to Diggs.

All Three Title Fights Locked in for PFL Charlotte

Every other fight for PFL Charlotte saw their contestants make weight successfully. This includes the three championship fights scheduled for tomorrow night.

Your main event of the evening for the 2025 PFL Lightweight Championship will proceed after both Alfie Davis (154.2 lbs) and Gadzhi Rabadanov (154.6 lbs) came in below the 155-lb championship maximum for the division. Immediately prior to that, the 2025 PFL Women’s Flyweight Championship will be up for grabs.

Liz Carmouche (125 lbs) weighed-in at the flyweight title fight maximum, while her opponent Jena Bishop (124.8 lbs) wasn’t too far away from the target. The first title fight of the card, the 2025 PFL Bantamweight Championship, is also locked in after both Justin Wetzell (134.8 lbs) and Marciley Alves (134.8 lbs) each came in under the 135-lb target.
