Paddy Pimblett has begun a 12-week training camp for a return to the Octagon, as he teased his next opponent.

Pimblett’s latest vlog contained a series of clues pointing toward a clash with Benoit Saint Denis (17-3, 1 NC). Paddy said he will return at UFC 329 on July 11, 2026, as part of International Fight Week in Las Vegas. At the end of the video, Pimblett appeared wearing a garlic clove necklace and a beret while taking a massive bite out of a French baguette.

“We know who his opponent is. You probably don’t, but you could probably guess if you read between the lines. I’m not going to reveal who my opponent is. The UFC will do that in due course. We’ll find out soon enough, won’t we?,” Pimblett

Pimblett’s Return

Pimblett confirmed that his current camp in Liverpool is prioritizing southpaws. Saint Denis is one of the most dangerous lefties in the top 15. This fight serves as a pivotal crossroads for Paddy following the biggest setback of his career earlier this year. Pimblett last competed on January 24, 2026, in an interim lightweight title headliner.

Despite a gritty performance, he lost a unanimous decision (48-47, 49-46, 49-46) to Justin Gaethje, which cost him a direct path to the undisputed gold. Pimblett is looking to halt the momentum of Saint Denis, who is fresh off a second-round TKO victory over Dan Hooker.

With undisputed champion Ilia Topuria set to defend against Gaethje at the UFC Freedom 250 “White House” event on June 14, a win for Pimblett in July would keep him firmly in the championship conversation.
