Dana White recently mentioned that Paddy Pimblett reminds him of Conor McGregor. This is huge for Pimblett as he is a rising star in the sport but hasn’t proved himself yet with any title or big win over notable names. That could change this weekend, as he faces Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight belt.

The UFC desperately needs more superstars in every division, and they are already removing boring fighters, making everything clear about what they want under the new Paramount deal. Meanwhile, ‘The Baddy’ ticks all the boxes of being a star, now he just needs a belt. This week he has a chance to get the interim title. This is going to be a big event overall with notable names being on the card.
