May 23 should be a chaotic night in Las Vegas as Adin Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions returns with Brand Risk 14 at the UFC Apex. While the headline matchup between Johnny Manziel and Bob Menery has generated attention, one of the most talked-about fights on the card is the undercard clash between Ray J and Supah Hot Fire, which is currently being listed as an MMA bout for the event.

What makes the matchup even more surprising is the context surrounding it. Back in January, Ray J publicly revealed serious health concerns following a hospitalization tied to pneumonia and heart complications. During a livestream, the singer said, “My heart's only beating like 25%, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be alright.” Adding even more intrigue to the matchup, Ray J has no recorded combat sports bouts on his resume, and there has been little to no public training footage released showing how active or prepared he is physically heading into the fight.

Standing opposite him is Supah Hot Fire, the viral battle rap comedian known for his parody rap battles and internet skits that became a major meme-era staple online. While he originally built his fame through comedy and viral content, Supah Hot Fire is no stranger to combat sports and has already competed multiple times under the Brand Risk banner. He currently holds a reported 2-3 fight record with one knockout victory. Most recently, he dropped a split decision boxing match to Gypsy Crusader on March 14, 2026, during an Adin Ross Brand Risk Promotions event in Miami.
