Robertson, ranked fifth in the division, joined the latest episode of Just Scrap Radio with host Cole Shelton to discuss her upcoming title opportunity in Chicago. The bout headlines the co-main event on a card topped by Islam Makhachev's welterweight title defense against Ian Machado Garry.

Robertson's Path to the UFC 330 Title Shot

Per BJPenn.com, Robertson addressed whether she was surprised to receive the title fight ahead of Tatiana Suarez, who has been considered a top contender in the strawweight division. She also discussed having longtime coach Din Thomas in her corner and the journey they have shared together.

Robertson told Shelton she already has her sights set on a first title defense against former champion Zhang Weili should she defeat Dern on Saturday. The opportunity to make history as the first Canadian woman to capture UFC gold carries additional weight for the strawweight contender.
