Roman Dolidze takes on Anthony Hernandez at UFC Vegas 109 in a middleweight bout, as we preview this upcoming fight.
Dolidze arrives in the fight in an impressive run of form. He has racked up three wins in a row, beating Anthony Smith, Kevin Holland and Marvin Vettori, respectively. Those wins put an end to his two-fight losing streak, as a win moves him closer to a title shot.
Meanwhile, Hernandez is not going to be a pushover. He has not lost a fight since 2020, when he came unstuck against Kevin Holland. Since that loss, Hernandez has racked up seven wins in a row. His last fight was a win against Brendan Allen, which took him into the top ten of the UFC rankings.
“The way I see it is if I keep winning I can’t be denied [a title shot]. I feel like I got to do more work until they fcking say ‘hey sit out a little bit’ or something. I haven’t been told sht so as of now I’m going to keep going towards that belt. He’s a vet for sure. He’s a banger.
“He comes forward and throws hard. I really like this fight for myself because, personally, I seen him gas in about three rounds. I live for people that gas out cuz I’m going to make you work. I’m going to make you drown. I really don’t care how (that fight) goes. Whoever has the belt, eventually, I’m going to fight them,” Hernandez said
