ONE Championship has unveiled the blockbuster main event for ONE Fight Night 37, as reigning ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing and Heavyweight Muay Thai World Champion Roman Kryklia battles undefeated Turkish knockout artist Samet Agdeve for the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship on Friday, November 7, in Bangkok, Thailand. The highly anticipated five-round showdown offers Kryklia the opportunity to make history as the promotion’s first triple champion in two different sports, while Agdeve seeks to capture his first ONE Championship belt in spectacular fashion.

Kryklia Eyes Historic Triple Championship Status

The 33-year-old Ukrainian giant enters this heavyweight kickboxing title fight with championship experience across multiple disciplines and an unblemished record in ONE Championship. Standing 6’7″ tall, Kryklia brings a devastating combination of size, technique, and finishing ability that has made him virtually unstoppable since joining the promotion.

Kryklia’s journey to potential triple champion status began with capturing the inaugural ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship in November 2019, followed by claiming the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title in December 2023.

The Dubai-based striker boasts a perfect 7-0 record in ONE Championship with six finishes, establishing himself as one of the promotion’s most dominant champions in the heavier weight classes.

His recent victories showcase his versatility across striking disciplines, having defeated Alex Roberts and Lyndon Knowles in Muay Thai competition while dominating kickboxing superstars including Tarik Khbabez, Andrei Stoica, Murat Aygun, Guto Inocente, and Iraj Azizpour.

Agdeve Brings Explosive Power Against Kryklia

The Turkish sensation represents one of kickboxing’s most promising young talents with a pristine 17-0 professional record, which includes 12 knockout victories. Agdeve recently captured the SENSHI Heavyweight Grand Prix Title, establishing his credentials against elite international competition.

“The King” demonstrated his readiness for ONE Championship’s elite level by defeating former promotional athlete Giannis Stoforidis in July. The impressive victory over a ONE Championship veteran suggests Agdeve possesses the skills necessary to compete with the world’s best heavyweight kickboxers.

At just 21 years old, Agdeve represents the next generation of heavyweight kickboxing talent, combining explosive knockout power with the hunger and fearlessness of youth. His perfect professional record and recent momentum make him a dangerous challenger for Kryklia’s championship aspirations.

Stacked Undercard Delivers Elite Competition

The loaded ONE Fight Night 37 card features five additional compelling matchups across multiple disciplines. American sensation Gilbert Nakatani will clash with Indonesian wrestling star Eko Roni Saputra in a crucial flyweight MMA tilt, while featherweight Muay Thai excitement comes courtesy of Nico Carrillo and Luke Lessei.

The striking action continues with Nakrob Fairtex battling Jacob Smith in flyweight Muay Thai competition and Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon taking on Abdulla Dayakaev at bantamweight. The card rounds out with a bantamweight MMA thriller, as Carlo Bumina-ang squares off against Elbek Alyshov in what promises to be a grappling-heavy encounter.

ONE Fight Night 37 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, November 7. The action begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The event is free for all Amazon Prime subscribers in the U.S. and Canada.
