With UFC Seattle quickly approaching, Song Yadong has some words for his dance partner Henry Cejudo.

Yadong and Cejudo are set to collide inside Climate Pledge Arena this Saturday night. It'll be Yadong's first bout since March 2024, when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Petr Yan. His opponent will also be looking to rebound from defeat, as Cejudo dropped his last two fights against Aljamain Sterling and the reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Merab Dvalishvili.

Ahead of fight night, Athlon Sports spoke to Yadong, who shared his belief that Cejudo isn't exactly eager to share the Octagon with him this weekend.

"For me, he's top seven, I'm top eight, so we both lost our last fight," Yadong said. "The close rank, so it's perfect for us and the UFC want this fight. I know Henry don't want this one, but I want this one, UFC want this one, he have to make this one."

Yadong went on to explain why he thinks "Triple C" would've preferred a different opponent.

"Because I'm not easy for anybody in the top 10," Yadong said.

While Yadong has some fighting words for Cejudo, it isn't all negative. In fact, "Kung Fu Kid" doesn't feel his upcoming foe has lost a step despite going 0-2 since coming out of retirement.

"He lost two fights in a row, but those guys are former champions," Yadong said. "Merab, he's right now, current champion."

Ultimately, Yadong has one goal this Saturday night and he made sure to let Cejudo know of his plan.

"I will win whether I knock him out or submit him, but I will win the fight," Yadong said.

Yadong enters this weekend's UFC Seattle card as the No. 8-ranked UFC bantamweight. Cejudo is just ahead of him in the No. 7 spot. It won't be long before fans find out who gets their way at the end of the night.
