According to UFC president Dana White, what is being billed as the biggest fight in UFC history has gotten the green light.

Dana White has confirmed that Jon Jones has finally agreed to fight Tom Aspinall.

In the past few months, it’s been a tedious back and forth game between the two fights. Some reports have pointed to Jon Jones stalling fight negotiations, however true that may or may not be.

According to Dana White, Jon Jones already agreed to defend his throne against the rightful number-one contender, Tom Aspinall. While an agreement was made, White likened dealing with Jones to dealing with a musician.

Dana White said, “It’s definitely the process with Jon Jones,” White said, referencing his stalled matchup against Aspinall. “[We’ve] been going through this since the day he started here. Yeah, it’s definitely the process.”

“Him and Anderson Silva, every time, you know, throughout the history of being in business with those guys, when it comes time to get them a fight, it’s like dealing with artists. It’s interesting,” White continued.

With mounting negative reports over the last few months, fan have begun to doubt if the bout will ever happen.
