Tom Aspinall reveals which heavyweight champion he would lose to

Many consider Tom Aspinall to be the most skilled MMA heavyweight alive. The UFC champion has bulldozed his way to the sport's peak, but he believes a now-retired Hall-of-Famer would beat him.

The Brit let his performances in the octagon do the talking and set himself up for a blockbuster fight against Jon Jones before negotiations broke down. Now, as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Aspinall lays claim to being the baddest man on the planet.

However, despite sitting atop the throne that all fighters dream of being and looking unstoppable on his way there, Tom Aspinall believes he's quite beatable.

"Yeah," Aspinall said while answering if there's anybody that could beat him, past or present. "Do you know 'DC'? Daniel Cormier. Peak 'DC' has the worst style for me ever."

Daniel Cormier is one of the very few fighters to achieve double champ status under the UFC banner.

Despite his accolades, ranging from being an Olympic wrestler to one of the best MMA fighters in the world, Cormier arguably doesn't receive the respect he deserves.

'DC' was always at a height disadvantage, but didn't let it prevent him from dominating the light heavyweight division and later capturing the heavyweight strap in his latter years.

"He's like a short guy who keeps walking forward, changing levels in between like grappling, punches," Aspinall continued. "He can knock you out, he can take you down. He's got cardio for days."

"He, for my style, he's a nightmare. I've thought about [who could beat me]... He was a beast. Peak 'DC' was unreal."

Tom Aspinall's claim to being the best in the world will be tested when he defends his crown at UFC 321 later this month.

If successful, Aspinall will have made the first defense of his undisputed title, but must bypass the always-dangerous Ciryl Gane, who will be hoping the third time's the charm regarding UFC gold.
