UFC Perth is upon us. Saturday night, the promotion heads down to the Southern Hemisphere for the final card of its September schedule.

RAC Arena in Perth will serve as the setting for the first card of the UFC’s fall slate, even though it’s spring in the Southern Hemisphere. As usual, though it won’t be like this for much longer, live coverage of UFC Perth begins with the prelims at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT on Saturday via ESPN+.

Main card action caps the evening at 10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT on the Disney-owned streaming platform. If there are no adjustments made to Saturday’s slate, the card will feature a lineup of 14 fights from Dana White’s promotion.

UFC Perth Featured Prelim: Navajo Stirling vs. Rodolfo Bellato

At the top of the bill on Saturday night’s undercard, the light heavyweights take to the fabled Octagon when Navajo Stirling (7-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) makes his third promotional appearance against Rodolfo Bellato (12-2-1, 1 NC MMA, 1-0-1, 1 NC UFC.) All fights mentioned herein are an advertised maximum of three rounds at five minutes per round.

Stirling has yet to taste defeat in his professional MMA career. Back on May 10 in Montreal, he bested Ivan Erslan (14-5, 1 NC MMA, 0-2 UFC) after three rounds of action for his second win under the UFC banner.

Can Stirling keep his undefeated record in tact on Saturday night? Tune into the UFC Perth featured prelim and find out.

Meanwhile, Rodolfo Bellato has posted a mark of 3-0-1 with one no-contest in his last five fights. He trekked down to the southern United States for a June 14 bout in Atlanta, with this fight being ruled a no-contest after an inadvertent upkick delivered by Paul Craig (17-10-1, 1 NC MMA, 9-10-1, 1 NC UFC) late in the opening round.

Craig retired earlier in September during UFC Paris after losing to Modestas Bukauskas by way of knockout during the first round of the fight. This is going to be an interesting fight in the UFC Perth featured prelim, so get your popcorn ready.

UFC Perth Co-Featured Prelim: Cam Rowston vs. Andre Petroski

Immediately beforehand, the UFC Perth co-featured prelim has a 2025 Contender Series graduate making his first walk to the cage as a member of the organization’s active roster. Australia’s own Cam Rowston (12-3 MMA, UFC promotional debut) squares off against Andre Petroski.(13-4 MMA, 8-3 UFC) in a middleweight class.

Rowston comes in having secured his UFC contract on DWCS 78 last month. That evening, he finished Brandon Holmes with a first-round knockout in his second opportunity in the Tuesday night MMA promotion. Contender Series alum Baisangur Susurkaev (10-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has already won big after scoring his contract.

In August, Susurkaev made his first walk to the Octagon as a fighter on the UFC roster on just four days’ notice, submitting Eric Nolan by rear-naked choke in UFC 319 from Chicago. Can Rowston become the next Contender Series product from this year’s class of fighters to win in his UFC debut?

Across the way, Andre Petroski is sporting a 3-2 record in his last five MMA contests. On June 14 in Atlanta, he dropped a unanimous decision to Edmen Shahbazyan (15-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) after three rounds of action.

Saturday’s fight is Petroski’s 12th in the UFC. Only time will tell, however, if he’s able to make Rowston’s UFC debut in the UFC Perth co-featured prelim a miserable night.

UFC Perth: Jonathan Micallef vs. Oban Elliott

Also on the UFC Perth prelims, you’ll be treated to a welterweight bout matching Jonathan Micallef (8-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) with Oban Elliott (12-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC.) Micallef will be making his sophomore appearance in the UFC this weekend with a 4-1 record in his five past fights.

He’s won three bouts consecutively, including a unanimous decision over Kevin Jousset (10-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC) in his debut this past February. Jousset found himself cut from the UFC’s roster in April and was slated to appear on this week’s PFL Europe 3 card in Nantes, France vs. Abdoul Abdouraguimov (19-1, 1 NC MMA) but this fight was scrubbed after the latter encountered contract issues.

When a fighter is on a hot streak, as Micallef is right now, he’s at his most dangerous. Could a fourth straight win be in the offing?

In the other corner, Oban Elliott comes into UFC Perth reeling from a June 21 loss in Baku. That night, he dropped a unanimous decision to Seok Hyeon Ko (12-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) in the latter’s first contest in the promotion.

He’s had a 4-1 record over the course of his past five contests and was on an eight-fight winning streak prior to the fight in Baku. Will he get back into the winners’ circle on Saturday?
