McGregor's Bentley Continental was temporarily seized upon his arrest, according to the initial report. He was booked at Lucan garda station and charged with dangerous driving before later being released on bail. A court date has not been set yet but is expected to take place next month.
If convicted, McGregor could face a €5,000 fine ($5,500.85) or six months jail time, or both.
The 33-year-old mixed martial artist has had his fair share of run-ins with the law during his tenure in the spotlight, including multiple driving violations. In 2019, he also pleaded guilty to assault charges after he punched a man in the face at a bar.
