A former title challenger got back on track at UFC Vancouver.

Months after losing to women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 315, France’s Manon Fiorot is fighting in Canada once again.

The #2-ranked Fiorot defended her top spot in the division against Ontario’s Jasmine Jasudavicius in a flyweight bout on the UFC Vancouver main card.

Fiorot’s striking was on display on Saturday, wobbling Jasudavicius with a shot early into the fight, one the Canadian didn’t get the chance to recover from.

Jasmine Jasudavicius protests Manon Fiorot’s TKO stoppage after she was on wobbly legs

Fiorot had Jasudavicius stumbling with a straight left.

Jasudavicius fell backwards onto the canvas and after five seconds of ground and pound from Fiorot, referee Dan Miragliotta put a stop to the contest.

Jasudavicius immediately talked to the referee post-fight, disagreeing with the stoppage.

Jasudavicius shrugged in disapproval as she walked away from Miragliotta, the same referee who many criticized earlier in the night for initially stopping Kyle Nelson vs. Matt Frevola with three seconds on the clock before letting the action continue after round 1.

The fans had mixed reactions to the TKO stoppage.

“Jasmine did the chicken dance,” one fan wrote on X.

“I see WHY Dan stopped it with her face touching the mat like that but it definitely wasn’t a great stoppage. She was on her knees, not flat, and was holding onto Manon trying to get up,” another fan wrote.

“S— stoppage. She was getting hit but also attempting to stand up when it was stopped. There’s one or two of these on every show nowadays,” another fan voiced.

Manon Fiorot went viral for wearing a Labubu at UFC Vancouver

Fiorot had a jewel-encrusted Labubu necklace in her UFC Vancouver post-fight interview.

“I think that’s a Labubu,” UFC commentator Paul Felder pointed out on the broadcast.

“My daughter would go nuts for that one,” Felder said of Fiorot’s pendant.

“Literally the coldest Labubu I’ve ever seen lol,” one fan wrote on X.
