Arman Tsarukyan is getting sharper by the day in his wrestling, but he previously got into a brawl with Georgio Poullas. Despite winning the fight at RAF 06, the Armenian fighter got into a heated, brutal brawl where he landed a clean shot at Poullas in the wrestling match. Now UFC veteran Ben Askren says they’re taking no risks in the rematch.

Askren says major changes are being made to keep the rematch between Tsarukyan and the American wrestler under control. After the chaos of their first fight, the UFC veteran revealed there will be extra security and better-prepared referees to prevent things from getting out of hand again. In a recent interview, the 41-year-old said:

“There’s going to be extra security. We cannot let what happened last time – the chaotic fight – happen. We can’t let that happen. We’ve got to keep it more under control. The referees are going to be coached up. This will not get out of hand. It will be tighter than the last time.”

The Tsarukyan vs. Poullas rematch is set for March 28 at RAF 7 in Tampa, Florida. The 27-year-old was the one who started the rematch talks first, which makes it clear he wants to avenge his loss. Meanwhile, the UFC lightweight star now also mocked the American wrestler before the match, making it more exciting.

Arman Tsarukyan Fires Shots at Georgio Poullas Ahead of Rematch

Arman Tsarukyan sent a strong warning ahead of his rematch with Georgio Poullas at RAF 7. Tsarukyan says things could get dangerous if it turns into a real brawl. He made it clear that as a trained MMA fighter, he knows how to seriously hurt someone. In a recent interview with Fox Nation, the Armenian fighter said:

“If Georgio was a man, I would have a problem with the guy. But with these guys I’m never gonna have problems because he’s not a man of his words. You can do something to him and he can cancel the fight and say I broke my hand, I wanna sue you – he’s kind of a tricky guy. He’s like a rat.

Overall, it’s a heated situation, and with tensions already high, Ben Askren’s plan for very tight security is definitely going to help the promotion stop the chaos if it happens. Now, fans will wait and see how the rematch unfolds as the 27-year-old wrestler is looking to avenge his loss.
