Ian Machado Garry's highly anticipated bout with Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310 featured a brief break to deal with a wardrobe malfunction.

During the third round, Garry's fight shorts tore, seemingly while pressed against the fence. Despite the noticeable tear, he remained unfazed, pushing through the rest of the round.

After Round 3, UFC officials came to Garry's corner with a new set of shorts. They held up a towel while he changed.

"I'm not rushing, you can f--king wait," Garry could be heard telling the officials as he sat on his stool recovering.

It's a rare occurrence, with many fight fans noting they had never seen it happen before.

"Ian Garry is forced to CHANGE HIS SHORTS in between rounds," one fan noted. "Has this ever happened before?"

UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who has been calling fights for decades, also noted that he had never seen it happen on the broadcast.

Garry suffered the first career loss, falling to Rakhmonov via unanimous decision and dropping to 15-1. Despite the setback, Garry nearly pulled off a dramatic comeback in the fifth round, coming close to submitting Rakhmonov but ultimately falling short.

The fight was widely regarded as a title fight eliminator, with the winner securing a shot at welterweight champion Belal Muhammad. Following the decision, Muhammad entered the ring for an intense face-off with Rakhmonov, setting the stage for the division’s next title bout.
