Valentina Shevchenko caught an unexpected stray from Ronda Rousey on Tuesday.

‘Rowdy’ went on an epic rant about UFC fighter pay during the press conference for her comeback fight against Gina Carano scheduled for May 16.

The former UFC bantamweight champion namechecked Valentina Shevchenko as one of the promotion’s stars who have to make ends meet through a side hustle.

Valentina Shevchenko thinks Ronda Rousey ‘slept too long’

In December 2024, Valentina Shevchenko joined OnlyFans, a site often used to sell explicit content.

However, the UFC flyweight champion shares exclusive images and videos related to her interests, not adult content.

Ronda Rousey apparently didn’t get the memo before mentioning Shevchenko in her UFC fighter pay speech.

“It used to be that the UFC was the best place that you could come in combat sports to make a living and be paid fairly. Now, it’s one of the worst places to go,” she said.

“It’s why so many of their top athletes are going to find pay elsewhere. It’s why their champions, like Valentina, are selling pictures of their t–ties on OnlyFans.”

Shevchenko referenced Rousey’s 48-second KO loss to Amanda Nunes when replying to the accusation that she sells NSFW material online.

“It’s 2026. Fighters using OnlyFans is just a new way to connect with fans,” she wrote on X.

“Looks like Ronda slept too long after her last fight in 2016.”

Did Ronda Rousey destroy her relationship with Dana White?

Ronda Rousey shared a special relationship with Dana White during her legendary UFC run.

The WMMA icon tried to direct her criticism of the UFC away from her former boss.

Rousey said the UFC was ‘barely recognizable’ since White relinquished control to money-hungry shareholders.

The UFC CEO was also given credit for telling Rousey to take a bigger comeback offer from Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions rather than stay with MMA’s premier promotion out of loyalty.

It’s clear Rousey has tried to salvage her friendship with White, but it is currently unclear how the UFC boss feels about her going nuclear on the company he has built since 2001.
