Sara Diggins/American-Statesman / USA TODAY NETWORK

Hasbulla is one of the most famous internet personalities in combat sports, with millions of followers. Hailing from Dagestan, he’s close friends with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev . Unexpectedly, his feelings towards Conor McGregor  aren’t any different from others in Team Khabib.

Hasbulla became popular due to his connection with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his incredible marketing team. He has collaborated with several UFC fighters, but would definitely not do that with Conor McGregor. In a recent interview, the viral sensation shared his intentions towards ‘The Notorious.’

If we crossed paths, I would kick him in the legs… I’m a man. Why should I run from him?

This rivalry between Team Khabib and McGregor started before UFC 229. The ‘Eagle’ destroyed the Irishman and won the fight, but the resentment is still there and doesn’t seem to reduce anytime soon. Recently, it took a new chapter after Khabib’s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov, got into a rivalry with Irish contender Paul Hughes.

This resulted in a back and forth on the internet with the potential of McGregor and Nurmagomedov coming face to face on January 25. While McGregor is currently busy dealing with the aftermath of his civil lawsuit, it won’t be surprising to see him make a surprise appearance. If that happens, Hasbulla might also make an appearance in the Bellator fight card in Dubai.

Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t want Hasbulla to fight

Due to his fan following and hype, UFC CEO Dana White signed a promotional deal with Hasbulla in 2022. He has been involved in promoting UFC events, merchandise, and content. He is often seen at UFC events, engaging in entertaining moments with fighters and fans.

Hasbulla was also offered to fight Abdu Rozik, another little person, due to their online feud over popularity. White was also asked to host the fight in the UFC or in Power Slap. However, the former champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov didn’t really appreciate this idea.

I don’t think he needs it. Those guys are hyping, everyone wants it. I understand….But I wouldn’t recommend him to fight with anyone…or he enter the octagon with Abdu Rozik.

Some, including sports organizations, criticized this idea, considering it exploitative. Nevertheless, the rivalry continues, making it a source of entertainment for many on the internet. However, Hasbulla’s hate for Conor McGregor seems much more authentic than Rozik’s.
