UFC legend Chuck Liddell’s light-hearted wrestling drill with Georgio Poullas almost ended in disaster.

Former light-heavyweight world champion Liddell made an appearance on the RAF Wrestling star’s latest live stream on Kick, taking part in a takedown challenge. Despite being 56-years-old and out of fight shape, he wagered that a man half his age in Poullas wouldn’t be able to take him down.

Usually it’s Poullas who is defying challengers to get him to the ground, but he opted to go the other way around with a legend like Liddell. They were flanked by renowned coach Eric Albarracin, who has been coaching influencers at the Content Inc house in Los Angeles.

Chuck Liddell narrowly avoids brutal moment in wrestling faceplant

During a stream with Georgio Poullas, former UFC champion Chuck Liddell was hit from behind with a body-lock, and the renowned wrestler attempted to take him down. However, the 56-year-old claims to weigh around 240lb, which is 65lb more than the streamer’s last weigh-in.

Poullas battled hard and managed to drag Liddell nearly to the mat at poolside. Ultimately, he couldn’t land the takedown and not only that, the veteran even managed to sweep him with a technique out of his MMA playbook.

But things almost ended in disaster as Liddell flopped face-first to the ground while getting his lock in. He even could be seen bleeding from his forehead, but he persevered and decided to keep on with the stream after being seen to by Albarracin.
