Watch: Conor McGregor says he 'could've been dead' after being hit by car while riding bike

Conor McGregor posted multiple videos to his Instagram Friday showing the aftermath of an apparent near-fatal crash that happened while he was riding his bike in Ireland.

In one of the videos, the UFC star says "I could've been dead there," as the driver of the car is apologizing. McGregor shifted the camera towards his clothing, showing a tear in his pants, but told the driver not to worry and that he was fine otherwise.

According to McGregor's Instagram post, he "Got a bang of a car just now from behind," due to the driver getting caught in a "sun trap," which left him unable to see the fighter. McGregor wrote that the driver went "full speed straight thru me," but it "wasn't my time."

Earlier this week, it was reported that the 34-year-old was under investigation for allegedly physically assaulting a woman on his yacht last summer. McGregor has denied all the allegations.

McGregor hasn't fought since suffering a serious leg injury during a loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
