Dana White has indicated he is open to creating a women's BMF title, after reporters raised the idea of expanding the belt to the UFC's female divisions.
The BMF title was first introduced in 2019, when Jorge Masvidal defeated Nate Diaz by doctor's stoppage at Madison Square Garden, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson presenting the inaugural belt. Since then, Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira have each held the title across 2023, 2024 and 2026.
There is already appetite from within the women's ranks. Jessica Andrade has previously proposed a BMF fight against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and has said Jedrzejczyk privately told her she would consider coming out of retirement for the occasion. White also floated Holly Holm as a natural fit for a women's BMF headline fight back in 2023, citing her decorated background across boxing, kickboxing and MMA. No formal announcement has been made.
