Taylor Swift Meets Families Of Southport Stabbing Victims Amid Eras Tour

The Taylor Swift themed dance and yoga event held at Southport was targeted by a 17-year-old knifeman. Three young girls were killed and eight more children were injured, along with two adults, including 35-year-old trainer Leanne Lucas. The event was for kids aged 6 to 11.

The teenager has been charged with both murder and attempted murder by UK authorities. As the incident sent shockwaves among citizens, Swift took to Instagram to share her condolences for the affected families.

On her Instagram story, she wrote, “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock. The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”

She is now meeting the affected families to give her condolences in person.

Taylor Swift star met with the family members of those injured and killed in the horrific mass stabbing incident during one of her Eras Tour performances in London.

One mother who saw Swift perform live at Wembley Stadium over the weekend shared pictures of their meeting on TikTok. Swift is photographed with the two injured girls, giving them hugs backstage.

Both the young Swifties donned Red themed t-shirts while one of them had a bandage on her arm. Swift’s mom Andrea is also seen in the pictures.

One mom wrote on Tiktok, “The biggest thankyou to @Taylor Swift and her mum for making the most magical night possible for us all thankyou for bringing Hope & Autumn pure happiness last night & always.”
