Another year and another ARCA Menards Series dirt win for Brent Crews. He is so good at these tracks in Illinois. Crews put on a show for Nitro Motorsports in the No. 70 car, and made it clear who was the best.

Twice in his career, Brent Crews has won at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. He also has a win at DuQuoin. There is a reason why so many people are big on Crews and his abilities behind the wheel.

Brenden “Butterbean” Queen faded in the field after troubles. He rallied to fourth and is still the championship favorite. Third win of the season for Crews in ARCA.

The one-mile dirt oval has been a staple on the ARCA schedule for years. Brent Crews has used it to elevate his name and prestige in the NASCAR world for several years now. His knack for these dirt races shows how versatile he is as a driver.

Make no mistake about it, this won’t really apply to any level of NASCAR. Dirt races are likely gone for good. Maybe we see the Truck Series go back to Eldora one day. I don’t know. But Crews is a driver, like many young drivers coming up, who has a variety of skills. These kids are racing road courses, dirt tracks, sprint cars, late models, and everything in between nowadays.

Toyota and Chevrolet are both building fantastic development programs. Brent Crews is likely Toyota’s answer to Connor Zilisch at Chevy. If all pans out, we could see those two going at it for years in the Cup Series.

For now, Crews is once again a winner in the ARCA Menards Series. Brenden Queen holds onto that championship points lead for another week as well. P2 for Lavar Scott, a strong run for the 6 team.

Brent Crews gets another win in ARCA rivalry

Every single time we see Brent Crews and Butterbean Queen line up together, it is going to be great racing. These two drivers are rivals and do not have much love for each other. Despite being a decade apart in age, the two have had battles going back to the CARS Tour.

Today was going to be difficult for Queen regardless of what happened with his car. It didn’t help that he fell almost out of the top-10 late in the race. While Queen came up on dirt tracks, Crews has shown he has a particular skill with the ARCA car at these venues.

This season, Crews has three wins, and Butterbean has five wins. While Crews isn’t running the full schedule, he is running plenty of these races. We have seen many head-to-head matchups between the two already this season. I’m sure that will only continue moving forward.

Brent Crews is a talent to watch. He will be a full-time driver in NASCAR somewhere next season. Likely the JGR Xfinity Series organization.
