The 23-year-old from Middletown, N.Y., put down a lap of 22.755 seconds at the three-quarter mile Richmond Raceway on Saturday afternoon, outpacing Ty Majeski by over a tenth of a second.
The pole is Eckes' third of the 2024 season and the ninth of his Truck Series career. With a 50-point lead over Corey Heim, Eckes will look to wrap up the regular-season championship and win for the fourth time in 2024 in Saturday's regular-season finale.
Majeski will join Eckes on the front row for Saturday's race, with Grant Enfinger, Layne Riggs and William Sawalich rounding out the top five. Corey Heim and Taylor Gray qualified sixth and seventh, respectively, with Kaden Honeycutt, Nick Sanchez and Tyler Ankrum rounding out the top 10 qualifiers.
Other notable qualifying efforts include defending champion Ben Rhodes in 11th, Stewart Friesen in 12th, Daniel Dye in 13th, Rajah Caruth in 16th and Connor Zilisch in 27th.
The Clean Harbors 250 at Richmond will go green shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday with coverage on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
