Dale Earnhardt Jr. set to make NASCAR return at Bristol
Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is set to race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol, after signing a new sponsorship extension with his long-time partner. He will drive the No:88 Chevy along-side his four-Junior Motorsports drivers and would be hoping to repeat the impressive race he had in the same track last season.

JRM which is owned by the 49-year-old, recently announced that the team has signed a sponsorship contract extension with condiment maker Hellman’s. Furthermore, this will result in the comeback of Dale Earnhardt Jr. on Bristol turf this season in the Xfinity series. This news shocked the field as the two-time Xfinity Series champion remained away from the NASCAR ladder since his retirement and focused on managing his team.

The No.88 driver has been racing in the Xfinity Series for one-off appearances throughout the years for his team JRM. Moreover, he had been leading the race at Bristol last year also but a fire in the car caused his race to turn into ashes in front of him. Despite the setback, Earnhardt will attempt to take the win this time at Bristol and claim his last victory before he turns 50 in October of this year.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is grateful for the sponsorship extension with Hellman’s

Since 2009, JRM has run at least one race with Unilever sponsorship throughout the years. Moreover, Hellman has been a partner of the JRM camp for the past few years. Subsequently, this tradition will continue into this year.

We are grateful for Unilever and Hellmann’s continued support and partnership. They have played a huge role in our organization and our success ever since the early days of JR Motorsports, both on and off the track. They are a huge component to every part of our company, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the future holds. Dale Earnhardt Jr. said in press release by JR Motorsports

JRM owner explained with gratitude that due to Hellman and Unilever(parent company of Hellman), the team has been able to function at the heights they have been able to. Moreover, they have played a huge role in the functioning of the organization by providing financial support to the team in its early days. Earnhardt would be looking towards his race at Bristol.
