The defending NASCAR Xfinity Series champion will lead the Xfinity Series field to the green flag in Saturday's Round of 8 opener at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
With a lap of 30.157 seconds (179.063 miles per hour) around the 1.5-mile track, Allgaier won the pole for Saturday's Focused Health 302. The pole is the 12th of Allgaier's Xfinity Series career, his second of 2025 and his first at Las Vegas.
A JR Motorsports teammate of Allgaier's, rookie sensation Connor Zilisch, will join Allgaier on the front row.
Brandon Jones, Aric Almirola and Nick Sanchez rounded out the top five, with Jesse Love, Christian Eckes, Taylor Gray, Carson Kvapil and Sheldon Creed completing the top 10. Almirola was the highest-qualifying non-playoff driver.
Other notable qualifying results include Austin Hill in 13th, Sammy Smith in 15th, Sam Mayer in 16th, Corey Day in 19th and Trevor Bayne in 26th.
Neither Ryan Ellis nor Parker Retzlaff was able to make a qualifying attempt. Ellis and Retzlaff will start 37th and 38th, respectively.
The Focused Health 302 will go green shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on the CW, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Pre-race coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET on the CW and PRN. AJ Allmendinger is the defending race winner.
