It was recently announced that two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch’s energy drink company, Rowdy Energy, will cease its operation. The decision was made because of stalled revenue generation and legal trouble. The team firm found itself over the presence of preservatives in the product.
The energy drink company began in 2020, with Busch’s nickname given to the brand. In year one, they made $1 million in revenue and ten times more the next season. But headwinds in the market were too strong for them to survive and thrive. Busch has publicly discussed the decision while talking to the media during the NASCAR production days.
After admitting that further investment in the company would have been a bad business decision, he hates the call. He pointed out that he wanted the venture to work out as it was successful among the masses. Busch also confirmed that he might do something for the Rowdy Nation.
I hate it. I wanted that to really work and be something and heard all about Rowdy Nation telling me how great it was and how much they enjoyed it. You never know, maybe we’ll try something else down the road. Busch told Fox Sports (H&T: On3.com)..
