Kyle Larson praises reigning Chilly Bowl champion Logan Seavey for ‘pretty legendary’ midget season
Alex Gould/Special for The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is one of the most successful dirt racers to make it to NASCAR. He has won multiple prestigious dirt races over the years, including winning the Chilly Bowl Nationals twice.  He recently took it to X to praise his fellow dirt racing star Logan Seavey for his impressive season after winning the 2024 Gloden Drill.

Seavey entered the event as the defending champion and had a huge back of expectation on his shoulders, as his 2023 triumph was a big surprise for many. But since last year, he has been performing at another level. He has won the Indiana Midget Week Championship, the USAC Midget Championship, and the USAC Silver Crown Championship, along with sweeping the USAC 4-Crown Nationals.

Larson acknowledged the domination of Seavey via X after coming across the stats about his triumphs. He pointed out that 2023 would’ve been one of the best, if not the best, seasons a driver has had while driving in the USAC/Midget racing series around the states.

I’m curious if there’s ever been a better overall USAC/midget season? Pretty legendary stuff no matter what. Congrats Logie Bear. Kyle Larson wrote on X.
