Christopher Bell represented for the Cup Series drivers and won in the Truck Series on Friday night at Bristol. He was able to run away from Chandler Smith to take the win for Halmar Friesen Racing. It was a chaotic night in Thunder Valley.

A late wreck involving Christian Eckes, Corey Heim, and Layne Riggs resulted in Bell and Smith moving up in the field. They used that to their advantage and took off, away from the rest of the Truck Series drivers.

Of the seven Cup drivers in the race, Bell won, four finished in the top-10. Chase Briscoe, Daniel Suárez, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., finished P14, P18, and P24, respectively. Dawson Sutton picked up a great top-10 finish in his home state race. A young and talented driver who is still developing, tonight might have been a show of what is yet to come.

A fun night of racing. NASCAR has to figure out how to get back from yellow to green quicker. It is imperative. Other than that, great racing, talented drivers, and a fun dash to the finish between the leaders.
