After a flirtation with a rain cancelation, the NASCARCraftsman Truck Series completed qualifying at Rockingham. Jack Garcia is on pole with a monster lap. He was the only driver to break the 22-second mark.

Garcia likes something about this Rockingham track. He has won the pole two years in a row since the return to the Rock. Corey Heim will start P7 in Friday night's race. Carson Hocevar is also in he field, but will have to race from P16 at the start to the front. A really solid showing from Brenden Queen who was able to qualifying in P11. He is the top Kaulig Ram for the race.

Corey LaJoie, who is now in the No. 10 truck full-time after the departure of Daniel Dye, will start P23. Rockingham is a track that LaJoie has some experience on from years ago when he was a teenager. The track is, for the most part, fundamentally the same as it was then, so maybe we will see a hard charger from LaJoie.

I've got my eyes on Christian Eckes in P22 and Sammy Smith in P24, as well as, Ben Rhodes, who qualified P25. Those are three talented and experienced drivers who will have a long way to go if they want to compete for the win. It should be fun to watch them race from the back.
