NASCAR Starting Lineup: Qualifying Results for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte

Charlotte Motor Speedway has turned dampened upon the bittersweet weekend of the Coca-Cola 600. In the midst of Kyle Busch's passing, the cars are slated to take the green flag, giving fans a few hours of good and distracting racing. Unfortunately, the weather is affecting the timing of such events.

For the Cup Series, practice and qualifying have been cancelled. The metric score determines the starting order: 70% of the last race's finishing position and 30% of the car's ranking in the driver standings.

Via the metric score, Tyler Reddick will be in pole position for the Coca-Cola as he commands a driver standings first-place lead of over 100 total points over second place, Denny Hamlin. Reddick will be joined on the front row by Ty Gibbs, who is in 6th place in the driver standings.

Gibbs did finish a mere 24th at Dover last week. However, that race was not a points race. The metric score dates back to Watkins Glen, two weeks ago. Gibbs finished that race in 3rd place, and Reddick in 5th. The following provides the starting order for the Coca-Cola 600.
