With NASCAR's All-Star Race in the rearview mirror, the Cup Series is shifting over to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca-Cola 600.
Christopher Bell and the No. 20 team for Joe Gibbs Racing continued their strong 2025 season with a victory at North Wilkesboro Speedway last weekend. After crossing the finish line, Bell gave all the credit to Adam Stevens and the rest of his crew.
"North Wilkesboro, how about that one? That right there was absolutely incredible," Bell said, via On3. "North Wilkesboro is the best short track on the schedule. Let’s go. The best - there’s nothing else to say. This sport can be so humbling because behind the wheel you’re just a small part of the success.
"These boys right here, Adam Stevens on the pit box, all the mechanics, all the engineers that put this thing together - they’re the big picture. I’m just the guy that gets to stand up here and talk to you and take the pictures, but without them I’m nobody and I owe it all to these guys."
Despite how successful Bell has been this year, Joe Gibbs Racing is making a change to his crew for this Sunday's race.
According to Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports, Stevie Reeves is no longer spotting for Bell. He's being replaced by Matt Philpott.
Reeves has been spotting for Bell since 2020. It's a bit odd to see a change of this magnitude in the middle of a great season, but maybe this will help Bell catch Kyle Larson in the Cup Series standings.
The Coca-Cola 600 will begin at 6 p.m. ET Sunday. There's no doubt Bell will be one of the odds-on favorites to win it.
