Fans will have to wait a little longer than anticipated, but they now know when they’ll be able to catch NASCAR: Full Speed Season 2. Netflix dropped a trailer for the new season on Wednesday afternoon.
The season will premiere on May 7. It will feature five 45-minute episodes.

NASCAR: Full Speed Season 2 follows the final 10 races of the season, which includes the playoffs. Joey Logano took home the title last season, so it will unquestionably feature him a good deal.
But there were other riveting storylines to follow in NASCAR at that time, too. Multiple drivers had children during the closing stretch to the season, including Chase Briscoe welcoming twins to the world. A brief snippet of that was included in the promo trailer.
All in all, the show looks like an excellent viewing option for NASCAR fans. And, with any luck on the sport’s end, it will encourage some new viewers to check things out.
William Byron breaks down what filming was like
Back-to-back Daytona 500 champion William Byron is excited about the new season of NASCAR: Full Speed. However, as he told the Rubbin’ is Racing podcast, there are downsides.
“No I mean I think it’s just is, it’s very intrusive like into your daily life,” Byron explained. “The only thing I’d like to see, and the new series is coming out in April, I believe. I’m excited for that, I participated in that and had some fun with it. So, I think it will turn out really good but I would say it’s just, I wish they followed along the entire season. Because I feel like they get a snapshot of the playoffs and that’s when you’re so serious, and like for me, I’m pretty introverted when it comes to competition.
“So, I’m not really going to be as, you know, I’m not going to share my daily life as much when I’m in that part of the season. Hopefully, we can do more stuff like that because I think it was a good, a really good thing for the sport.”

Rare accomplishment at Iowa shows RFK Racing is heading in right direction
The struggles have been real for RFK Racing in recent years, particularly since 2012 Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski joined as the organization's co-owner in 2022. Since Keselowski became driver and owner of the team, results have been hard to come by aside from a breakout three-win campaign in 2023 for Chris Buescher. Buescher tacked on additional wins in the Bristol Night Race in 2022 and Watkins Glen in 2024, but was not a part of the playoff field when those victories took place. Keselowski's lone win with the organization came at Darlington Raceway in May of 2024. In its first season as a three-car team under Keselowski's leadership, RFK Racing is starting to show signs of improvement. On Sunday at Iowa, Keselowski (third) and Ryan Preece (fifth) both came away with top-five finishes, giving the organization multiple cars inside the top five in consecutive weeks for the first time since 2012, per NASCAR Insights. It was a bittersweet result for Keselowski, who swept the two stages and led 68 laps. It has been a rough season overall for the veteran with six DNFs. Despite sitting outside the top 30 in points for most of the season, Keselowski now finds himself 21st in the playoff standings after back-to-back top-fives at Indianapolis and Iowa. Preece's fifth-place finish was more of a blue-collar day at Iowa after he ran near the back of the field for much of the early going. The short track ace is having a breakout season with 10 top 10s. His consecutive top-five runs have him sitting only 23 points behind Buescher for the final playoff spot with three regular season races left. Buescher has had a rocky summer stretch with four finishes of 14th or worse in the last five races, but still holds down the final playoff spot and heads into the next three races at Watkins Glen, Richmond and Daytona as a previous winner at each of them. When Keselowski took over the organization, he knew it was going to be an uphill climb to get the cars competitive again. After all, Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wins at Talladega and Daytona in 2017 were the last time the organization, then known as Roush Fenway Racing, won a race before Keselowski took over. Now as a three-car operation after adding Preece in the offseason to pilot the No. 60 Ford, RFK Racing continues to show signs of improvement. Keselowski had arguably the fastest car at Iowa and Preece's ability to rally toward the front shows a team that is as resilient as any in the garage. The only downfall for RFK Racing is where its drivers sit in the points. There are only three spots up for grabs to complete the 16-driver field with 23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick holding a sizable 122-point edge in 14th. That leaves Hendrick Motorsports' Alex Bowman (+63) and the RFK teammates Buescher (+23) and Preece (-23) on the cutline, not to mention Keselowski, whose potential win would not only lock himself into the playoffs, but likely knock one of his two drivers out. It is not an ideal situation for RFK Racing in that regard, but considering where the organization was not that long ago, that is a much better spot to be in and one that continues to show the gains that it has made.

Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love Just Put the 'Aaron Rodgers Is a Bad Teammate' Narrative to Bed Once and For All
The story is very familiar to Green Bay Packers fans: when the team decided to select Aaron Rodgers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, their incumbent quarterback, Brett Favre, was not happy. And he let everyone know about it, including his successor. For his part, Rodgers kept his head down and picked up whatever he could from watching the eventual Hall of Famer play the quarterback position. Fast forward 15 years to 2020, and Rodgers found himself in the same position as Favre: feeling like he was on top of his game, but seeing Green Bay take his eventual successor in the NFL Draft. That, of course, was Jordan Love, the current Packers starting quarterback. Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love, Once Again, Describe How Well Aaron Rodgers Treated Him Over the past several years, there has been a narrative pushed by many members of the national media that Rodgers is a bad teammate. Some of these claims started to pop up during his final years with the Packers, but they gained steam and notoriety while he was with the New York Jets. The only problem with these claims is that they hardly ever came from players that actually were teammates with Rodgers. And, for his part, Love has always praised his predecessor for how welcoming he was despite the narrative surrounding them immediately following the 2020 NFL Draft. In his recent post on the Players Tribune, Love once again praised Rodgers for what he did for him as a mentor and teammate: “I don’t think it really set in for me until I started doing interviews, and every question was basically, ‘What about Aaron?’ “In my mind, I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s one of the best to ever do it. I’m about to learn everything I can from this dude.’ “But before me and Aaron could even talk, the narrative was rolling. And it’s so crazy to me, because from the jump, Aaron was great with me. He laid out how he was in my same situation, and that he wanted to make sure there was no hostility. I told him I just wanted to learn and soak it all in. “I mean, I’d been a QB2 for a lot of my life. For me, it was nothing new. It was perfect, actually. Think about it: you’re coming into this league at 21 years old. It’s a different world. I’m not even talking about just football. You have to be able to command a room and know how to talk to different guys, how to motivate them — what to say, what not to say. I got to watch Aaron and how he handled those situations, and that was invaluable.” Love went on to describe how he learned from watching his legendary predecessor, how he picked up on when defenses were making substitutions too late, how he built chemistry with Davante, how he “manipulated” defenses instead of just “playing” against them. He also said that the biggest thing he learned from Rodgers was that the most important thing in the NFL, in games, in practices, in everything, is to be consistent. And when it came time for Love to take over as the Packers starting quarterback, he knew what was expected. So did his mother, he told him, “Big shoes to fill. You going to be alright? You gotta play good, or they’ll get another quarterback.” Fortunately, for Love and the Packers, he has been as good as they could have hoped and continues to get better. And Rodgers’ mentoring and welcoming demeanor played a big role in that.
Maple Leafs Linked to 20-Goal Talent in Potential Roster Shake-Up
With Mitch Marner leaving the Toronto Maple Leafs this offseason, the team has been searching for different ways to replace his production. Marner was a central piece to the offensive side of things for Toronto, and the Maple Leafs front office has been active. Toronto is looking to get over the hump in the Eastern Conference, and building a more well-rounded roster could be the key. The Maple Leafs have multiple options to improve the team, and the possibility of a late offseason move is in play. One name that has gained some traction for the Maple Leafs is forward Jack Roslovic. According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, there are multiple teams still looking at Roslovic, including the Maple Leafs. Toronto has been trying to move money around to make it possible to outright sign Roslovic. The Maple Leafs are lacking cap space, but it seems that Roslovic could be a solid addition to bolster the roster. Roslovic is coming off a very successful season with the Carolina Hurricanes, which saw him score 22 goals and 17 assists. The forward remains one of the better free agents still left on the open market, and he could help fill the void left by Marner's leaving. Toronto has been active this offseason, bringing in Nicolas Roy and Matias Maccelli to help things. But Roslovic could be used as a third-line scoring option, helping to make the Maple Leafs more formidable across the roster. This could be a move to help get the Maple Leafs to take that next step toward true title contention. The front office has a lot of pressure on it to succeed, and this could be one way to help win more games on the ice.
Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury excited for forgotten WR, whose progress is ‘night and day’
The Washington Commanders have Super Bowl intentions for the 2025 NFL season, and OC Kliff Kingsbury believes fans will see even more from certain players in the year ahead. Kliff Kingsbury, who has head coaching experience in the NFL, returned as an offensive coordinator in 2024. He was hired as the offensive coordinator entrusted with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, and the results were sensational. With Daniels’ help, Kingsbury built one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, and the Commanders may have even more depth than many are anticipating. Kingsbury praises Luke McCaffrey for development ahead of 2025 season The Washington Commanders were electric in 2024. Jayden Daniels threw for 3,568 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, while rushing for another 891 yards and six TDs on the ground. Terry McLaurin led the team in receiving yards and touchdowns, totaling 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 scores. Beyond that, the team had a lot of contributing pass catchers, including veteran tight end Zach Ertz, and receivers Olamide Zaccheus, Noah Brown, and Dyami Brown. Zaccheus and Dyami Brown both took deals to play elsewhere in free agency, so the Commanders replenished the room with the trade for Deebo Samuel, and the additions of both veteran Michael Gallup and fourth-round rookie Jaylin Lane. However, one name that has flown under the radar as he enters his second season in the league is 2024 third-round pick Luke McCaffrey. McCaffrey, who is the younger brother of San Francisco 49ers running back and NFL star Christian McCaffrey, is hoping to make a bigger impression in 2025. Kliff Kingsbury talked about his development this week, saying: “Luke’s come a long way from last year this time to now. Just the confidence, we’re playing him outside a lot for necessity … he’s definitely night and day difference from what he was last year this time.” Kingsbury also talked about the ‘worst case scenario’ with Terry McLaurin, if he did get hurt or wasn’t with the team for any reason in 2025. He said they were navigating who would play on the outside, and that’s one of the reasons they’ve been getting McCaffrey reps out there during training camp. Terry McLaurin’s trade request is allowing younger receivers reps with starting offense Terry McLaurin is a true professional, and when his contract situation finally gets resolved there is very little doubt that he’ll return to form immediately. That said, in his absence there are players like Luke McCaffrey who are seeing a lot more reps. Kingsbury talked through the potential personnel groups without McLaurin on the field, and it sounds like McCaffrey is proving he can be trusted as an X receiver, as well as playing out of the slot. In 2024, the third-round pick ran 76% of his reps out of the slot, but if the team knows they can also count on him at the X, he may see more playing time in 2025. McCaffrey finished his rookie season with 18 catches for 168 yards and will now be competing for reps this season with rookie Jaylin Lane and other depth pieces within the Commanders’ offense.
