Noah Gragson will officially join FRM in 2025, marking the third Cup Series team in three years for the 25-year-old Las Vegas native.
After joining Legacy Motor Club for his rookie season in 2023, Gragson was suspended in August due to an incident involving social media. However, he managed to land on his feet for 2024, signing with Stewart-Haas Racing.
With Stewart-Haas shutting down at the end of 2024, Gragson found himself in need of a home for 2025. Going to Front Row means Gragson will now be a part of one of the youngest lineups in the Cup Series and paired with Ford for the second season in a row.
Through the first 20 races of 2024, Gragson has finished inside the top 10 six times, including a season-best finish of third at Talladega. In Sunday's race at the Chicago Street Course, Gragson wheeled his No. 10 car to a 14th-place effort.
Gragson certainly hasn't lit the world on fire in his young Cup Series career, but if he's given multiple seasons of stability with Front Row, he could finally start to live up to the potential he showed when he was a championship contender in the Xfinity Series.
With Front Row getting faster with each passing year, it's not a stretch to say that all three of FRM's drivers, including Gragson, could be fighting for a playoff spot or wins in 2025.
With Todd Gilliland already confirmed to be driving FRM's No. 38 car in 2025, Gragson's signing means only one more seat is open at Front Row for 2025, with names such as Christian Eckes and Sam Mayer being floated around as potential drivers.
If the saying "First chances are rare in racing, and second chances rarer still" is applicable today, Gragson must've missed the memo. He may be going to his third team in three years, but it proves that he's a valuable enough asset behind the wheel that teams feel a need to take a chance on him.
