Photos show Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s plane on fire after runway crash

Dale Earnhardt Jr., his wife, daughter and two pilots are reportedly OK after Earnhardt's plane crashed in Bristol, Tennessee on Thursday afternoon.

Earnhardt’s Cessna Citation jet crashed near the runway at Elizabethton Airport, leaving the plane in flames, photos showed:

The FAA says the plane rolled off Runway 24 at the airport and caught fire. All five members aboard were able to escape safely.

Earnhardt’s sister Kelley says everyone is safe and they were taken to a hospital.

Earnhardt Jr., 44, competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and is an analyst for NBC. He is a two-time Daytona 500 winner.
