Big announcement for Rajah Caruth as he will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series season debut this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway. Caruth won the Nashville Truck Series race earlier this season for his No. 71 Spire Motorsports team.

Rajah Caruth has made starts in the Xfinity Series before. His last start came in 2023 when he suited up for Hendrick Motorsports at Phoenix Raceway. Caruth has a career-best finish of P12 in the series, twice at Martinsville.

While Caruth is sponsored by HendrickCars.com, he won’t race the No. 17 car. Instead, Jake Finch is racing for the Hendrick Xfinity team. Caruth will suit up for Jordan Anderson Racing in the No. 32 car. Sponsorship from EventsDC.

In 2023, Rajah Caruth has made two starts at Dover Motor Speedway in the Xfinity Series. He was racing for Alpha Prime Racing. His first trip ended in a P38 DNF. However, his second visit to the Monster Mile was slightly better, P26.

The No. 32 car for JAR has had relative success this season. Jordan Anderson himself finished P7 at Daytona. Austin Green has a pair of top-10 finishes on road courses and almost had a third at Sonoma. Now, it’s Rajah’s turn.

There is relatively low pressure in the No. 32. No one thinks that Rajah will go out and win the race. There is a chance he could, but it’s not likely. However, this could be a big step for him as he continues to try and prove he has staying power in NASCAR.

Could Rajah Caruth be more comfortable in Xfinity?

There are certain drivers who are seemingly more comfortable in the Xfinity Series car than the Truck Series truck. Is it possible Rajah Caruth is one of those drivers? Maybe? The jury is still out on that, but in 2022 and 2023, many people were impressed with Caruth’s results in the limited Xfinity starts he had made.

Support from HendrickCars.com is fantastic for Caruth. However, he has to work on diversifying his sponsorship portfolio. I’m not sure he will ever be full-time in the Xfinity Series in the Hendrick 17 car based on how they operate that team. So, he has to prove to another organization that he is worth it competitively and financially.

Having a strong run in the Jordan Anderson No. 32 car could do a lot for Rajah Caruth. If he goes out and beats Jake Finch in the 17 car, that would be a big statement.
