NASCAR Truck Series driver Toni Breidinger will be back in the spotlight this Saturday for a race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Breidinger spent a few years competing in the ARCA Menards Series before agreeing to race full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series. Last weekend, she made her 2025 season debut at Daytona International Speedway. Unfortunately for the 25-year-old racer, she placed 28th due to a massive collision.
"A lot to learn, obviously" Breidinger told reporters after the race. "I spun on pit road twice, so didn’t learn my lesson the first time. Something to work on there. I kind of saw it coming. I was trying to keep my space, and then I was like, I’m gonna tighten up the apple a little bit, and then everyone wrecked at that point."
Well, Breidinger has the chance to redeem herself this afternoon. The Fr8 208 will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Breidinger will be sporting a new paint scheme for this Saturday. Tricon Garage confirmed earlier this week that she'll have the Women's Sports Foundation logo on the back of her truck. This move was made to celebrate 50 years of empowering women in sports.
Prior to the start of Saturday's race, Breidinger shared a few photos of her walking on the track in Atlanta.
"First time seeing this place," she wrote on Instagram. "Rolling off p18."
Breidinger, the first Arab female driver to compete in NASCAR, had 27 top-ten finished during her racing in the ARCA Menards Series.
Perhaps we'll see Breidinger record her first top-ten finish in the Truck Series this Saturday in Atlanta.
NASCAR fans can watch the Fr8 208 on FS1.
