Watch: Dale Earnhardt Jr. claims the new NASCAR Netflix docu-series ‘better than anything’ ever made on the sport
Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Streaming giant Netflix is set to release a documentary series around NASCAR on January 30th. This will be the first docu-series made on the sport in a long time and is inspired by the widely successful Formula One series, Drive to Survive. The series is named NASCAR: Full Speed and gives fans an exclusive look into the life of NASCAR superstars during race weeks on and off the track.

It’s a series with five episodes, each of which will be around 45 minutes long. Drivers such as champion Ryan Blaney, Ross Chastain , Bubba Wallace, and Denny Hamlin are among the drivers given the most limelight in the series. NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. has already seen the whole series and has some nice words to share.

Dale Jr., one of the series’s executive producers, pointed out in his recent appearance in the Dale Jr. Download podcast that it was the best documentary ever made on the sport and the best he has ever seen. He shared his enthusiasm for the series that will be released in the weak and is eager to see how the race fans will respond.

The Netflix series is coming out the 30th. I’ve watched it and it’s better than anything that I’ve ever … Any of the stuff that I was a part of in my career that was sort of off track, on track documentary-style stuff, I’m telling you man, this is so good. Junior said via Dale Jr. Download (H&T: On3.com).
