Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson laid it all on the line for the Stage 2 win in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead.
Both Hamlin and Larson were able to get around race leader Ryan Blaney — who had slightly older tires — late in the stage, and it looked like Hamlin was going to be able to cruise to the stage victory.
However, lapped traffic brought Larson back into the battle for the lead, leading to an incredible finish to the stage.

Hamlin was clear of Larson as the pair rocketed into Turn 3, but Larson was able to pull beside Hamlin in the middle of the corner. Larson edged ahead for a brief moment on the exit of Turn 4, but the momentum from the outside lane was enough to carry Hamlin past Larson and give Hamlin his first stage victory since the Cup Series visited Homestead in October of 2024.
Ryan Blaney won Stage 1 of Sunday's race. The third and final stage of the Straight Talk Wireless 400 is being televised on FS1, with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
