Brandon Jones, Gio Ruggiero and Kaden Honeycutt were all involved in a scary crash in Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
On Lap 31 of the SpeedyCash.com 250, Ruggiero clipped the grass on the frontstretch dogleg, which shot his No. 17 Toyota up the track and into the No. 45 of Honeycutt. Ruggiero was briefly airborne after hitting the grass and after his hard impact with the outside wall in turn 1.
As Ruggiero and Honeycutt bounced off the wall, they collected an innocent bystander in Jones, who hit Honeycutt so hard that the right-front tire on Jones' No. 1 truck came off and rolled through the corner.
