This might be the biggest day in recent NBA history. In a stunning move, the Dallas Mavericks traded superstar guard Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis in a three-team deal that included the Utah Jazz. In a world where trade discussions are easily leaked, this move truly flew under the radar until it finally materialized.

Not many people can say that they saw this coming... except for one guy on X. On Dec. 28, 2022, user @Botstanacc posted a message on X (then known as Twitter) speculating that Doncic and LeBron James would be teaming up eventually on one team in 2025. After the trade, the user's post suddenly blew up.

Most people are reacting to the trade by asking @Botstanacc to make other sports predictions for them.

Others are hilariously pointing out the fact that every time a big sports event happens, there's always someone who seemingly predicts that way before it happens.

Some want the user to use his apparent prophetic gifts for his own gain, like @scaredmoneycam, who asked him to "Go buy a lottery ticket buddy."

@Botstanacc is taking this sudden fame quite well, making other predictions for fans who replied to his suddenly hit tweet. In response to a Raiders fan asking about his team, the user simply said, "More losses."

The Davis-Doncic trade completely came out of left field. Minutes after James led the Lakers to a big win, Shams Charania broke the news that Doncic was headed to Los Angeles for AD. Due to the ridiculous-sounding nature of the trade, no one believed him... until he tripled down on it.

The Lakers now have two of the best floor generals to ever play the game. Early in his career, Doncic drew comparisons to James due to their ability to control the game and set teammates up for success. It will now be interesting to see how the two superstars co-exist under these circumstances.
