With week six in the 2025-26 NBA season underway, here are the players fantasy basketball managers can consider dropping (depending on their situation and league format).
Christian Braun – Braun is out for at least a month after suffering an ankle sprain in early November. He hasn’t been able to follow up on his breakout campaign from 2024-25 and is not worth holding.
Isaiah Collier – The Jazz have primarily played Collier off the bench since he made his season debut from a hamstring injury. That role is capping the sophomore’s value, making him just a source for assists.
Bilal Coulibaly – Decent stocks aren’t enough to compensate for Coulibaly’s lack of production offensively. The Frenchman’s durability is also a problem. Monitor him down the stretch when the Wizards embrace the tank.
Daniss Jenkins – Unfortunately, Jenkins’ magical run has come to an end. With the Pistons getting key players back from injuries, the 24-year-old fell off the fantasy radar as his minutes plunged.
Tre Jones – Since shifting to the bench three games ago, Jones’ playing time and numbers are down. The guard is an excellent pickup when given a heavier workload, and the Bulls have struggled with injuries.
Davion Mitchell – Even with Tyler Herro‘s return, Mitchell remained in the starting lineup due to other injuries. His impact has diminished, and his role is uncertain when the team is fully healthy.
Malik Monk – Monk reverted to a bench role, causing his numbers to drop from last season. The veteran’s minutes hover around the mid-20s, and he hasn’t benefited much from Domantas Sabonis‘ injury.
D’Angelo Russell – Russell’s fluctuating production and minutes prevent him from having much fantasy relevance. While the 29-year-old is having one of his worst seasons, he’s a decent streamer when the Mavericks are shorthanded.
Collin Sexton – When the Hornets are fully healthy, Sexton is pushed to the bench. He offers some value in points and assists categories, but not much else.
Cason Wallace – Managers who need steals can hold on to Wallace. However, he’s a specialist in just that category, which has helped inflate his fantasy ranking. Moreover, Jalen Williams‘ return figures to hurt Wallace.
