Could Jaylen Brown be on the move this offseason?
The Boston Celtics star was recently named second-team All-NBA for the 2025-26 season. However, following Boston's loss to Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference playoffs, there's talk of a major shakeup with the Celtics.
Brown could be on the move.
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, three teams are emerging as potential destinations for Brown, as we head into the offseason:
There is a belief in some corners of the league that Atlanta, Houston and Portland all have legitimate trade interest in Jaylen Brown, per @TheSteinLine

ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst believes that the Celtics are reaching a potential tipping point in the franchise.
They could have to make a decision soon on what - or, rather, who - to build around.
Windhorst knows that the Celtics need to evaluate their roster.
"I think the Celtics are at an interesting point," Windhorst said. "They have to evaluate their roster and decide is Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum together earning $600 million on their contracts the way to go forward in the league, in the apron era to have everything tied up in two players that are so similar.
"Not because one guy wants his own team, not because one guy wants out of there, not because one guy wants extra accolades and extra shots. From a basketball team-building strategic standpoint in the 2026 NBA, does that make sense? This is what the Celtics have to analyze."
Brown is under contract through the 2028-29 season, on a five-year, $303.7 million contract. Tatum, meanwhile, is also under contract through the 2028-29 season, on a five-year, $314 million extension.
There's been talk of a Giannis trade, too.
"This is extraordinarily simple. Of course Milwaukee would see some of the stuff that Jaylen Brown is saying and they would get ready to go and call Boston," Windhorst said. "From a Boston standpoint, this is very simple. In July, Jaylen Brown has the opportunity to sign a contract extension with the Celtics. If he's happy with the Celtics, it's a huge one. It could be $70 million per year. He's just coming off his best season, you're going to offer it. If he's happy with the Celtics, sign. See you in September. If he's not happy with the Celtics and he's like, 'I'm not sure I want to be here,' trade [him]."
