76ers have a strong pitch to sign LeBron James

Multiple teams are trying to get their hands on LeBron James, who'll officially leave the Los Angeles Lakers after eight years.

However, they won't get to meet with him, at least not at this point in the process.

Rich Paul, his agent, is doing all the talking and meeting for now. That's why Bob Myers, currently with the Philadelphia 76ers, didn't waste a second to reach out to the Klutch Sports CEO.

In the latest edition of his "Game Over" podcast with Max Kellerman, they hosted Myers and listened to quite an appealing pitch to get James to the City of Brotherly Love.

Bob Myers wants LeBron James in Philadelphia

“If he was here, I would honestly say that this is your best chance to win,” Myers said. “You have to decide all of the other things that are equally important, because it’s his life. He has to play, and he has to face the scrutiny of his decision. People will say you should’ve done this or should’ve done that, and criticize him for whatever, which is his life. He’s been through all that. What I would just say is, if it’s about winning, let’s talk about this team. You can win here in Philadelphia.”

While the Sixers haven't necessarily been the winningest team and have a long history of playoff shortcomings, they do have one of the best rosters in the game.

When healthy, Joel Embiid is still a top-three center. Tyrese Maxey is a rising star, V.J. Edgecombe looked like a star in his rookie season and they now have Jaylen Brown.

Also, Myers was the architect of the Golden State Warriors, so he knows a thing or two about roster-building.

If James is all about winning, he can definitely do much worse than to join the Sixers.
