The free agency window officially opens on Tuesday, June 30, at 6 p.m. EST. With all 30 teams in the NBA making moves and preparing for free agency, the Philadelphia 76ers appeared to be one of the busier organizations on Monday.

Reports indicate that the front office made decisions on contracts for three different players, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic. The first report reveals that two players will be returning to Philly next season.

“The Philadelphia 76ers are picking up team options on Dom Barlow and Dalen Terry, league sources tell the Athletic,” reported Jones.

Barlow, a four-year veteran, had a career year with the 76ers just this last season as a key player off the bench. The 23-year-old forward averaged career highs in points (7.7), rebounds (4.8), and assists (1.2) per game while shooting 53.9% from the floor and 25.6% from beyond the three-point line.

As for Terry, the 23-year-old guard played just 14 games for Philadelphia in the regular season. However, he seemingly impressed head coach Nick Nurse and the front office enough to remain with the club. In his 14 games with the 76ers, Dalen Terry averaged 4.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists, owning a 43.4% field goal percentage and hitting 25.0% of his three-point attempts.

With Barlow and Terry returning, the 76ers decided to let Trendan Watford walk, per Jones. The front office elected to decline Watford’s team option, and he will officially become an unrestricted free agent.

“The Philadelphia 76ers have declined the team option on forward Trendan Watford, league sources tell The Athletic. Watford now becomes an unrestricted free agent,” claimed Jones.

Watford played 53 games for the Sixers last season, starting in seven. However, his playing time dropped in Philadelphia compared to his time the previous year with the Brooklyn Nets (16.3 minutes per game with the 76ers, 20.8 minutes per game with the Nets).

Trendan Watford will be exploring opportunities to sign with a new team after averaging 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest with a 51.5% field goal percentage and 20.0% three-point percentage.
