Former Cleveland Cavaliers sideline reporter and current Los Angeles Lakers studio host Allie Clifton will be among those joining the Amazon Prime NBA broadcasts during the debut season in 2025-26.
Clifton, who played college basketball at Toledo, once served as the Cavs’ sideline reporter for regional games on Fox Sports Ohio (now FanDuel Sports Network). Cassidy Hubbarth and Kristina Pink will also regularly work the Prime sideline.
“Filled with such gratitude,” Clifton posted on X. “Truly excited to be a part of this incredible broadcast team for NBA on Prime covering the game I love.”
Along with the sideline reporting news, Amazon is adding longtime Charlotte Hornets analyst Dell Curry, former player and executive Brent Barry, and veteran play-by-play voice Kevin Harlan to the team.
That trio joins an already star-studded Amazon cast that reportedly includes analysts Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, Candace Parker, Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowitzki, Stan Van Gundy, and Udonis Haslem. Taylor Rooks will serve as studio host of Prime’s NBA games.
Amazon is entering the first season of its new 11-year national media rights agreement with the league. Alongside Disney (ABC/ESPN) and NBC, the company will be one of three national broadcast partners beginning in 2025–26.
Clifton joined the Cavs’ broadcast team in 2012 after a stint with WTVG in Toledo. She remained with Fox Sports Ohio until 2018, when she left for Spectrum SportsNet. In February 2024, she became the first woman to serve as an announcer on a Lakers telecast.
She is also the host of the Road Trippin’ podcast, starring former Cavaliers forwards Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye.
