Harry Giles III is a name that will be remembered in Sacramento Kings history for quite some time due to his love for the city and the city's reciprocity. While things did not work out for the Kings and their 2017 first-round pick due to one of the most adverse injury histories among players in any sport, there is still a mutual love between fans and Giles - and Giles still backs Kings players consistently.

In an interview on The Hoop Chat with Emily Austin, Giles had the following to say about former teammate G De'Aaron Fox in a behind-the-scenes segment with Chris Mullings:

"In five years we're going to talk about something different... De'Aaron's on the rise, top three guard in the West... will be legendary.. he's a jump shot away from being one of the best point guards in the league"

Giles and Fox's history goes back to their high school days, where they were in the same recruiting class where Giles was the consensus #1 ranked player. The pair went to different colleges - Giles to Duke and Fox to Kentucky - but they were both drafted to the Kings in 2017.

Since then, the two have shown lots of love for each other over the years beyond basketball - De'Aaron even inadvertently met his wife, Recee Fox, through Giles, who was friends with Recee.

Giles also stated in the interview that he would "never not have a purple heart."

"Sacramento, where I was drafted to, they embraced me, they accepted me, I showed them love back. It's a lot of love out there. I got a lot of friends out there that I call family... I had a great time out there."

Giles returned to the NBA this season and was linked with the Kings before eventually signing with the Brooklyn Nets - but one thing remains clear. Giles will always love Sacramento, and Sacramento will always love Harry Giles III.
