Anthony Davis did not celebrate when LeBron James broke all-time scoring record
Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James made history against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The King finally became the NBA's all-time scoring leader. He surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's tally and received a lot of praise from everyone around the globe.

It led to former NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal getting James to admit that he is now the greatest basketball player of all time. While many congratulated LeBron for his achievement, there was one person who shockingly didn't celebrate it.

It was surprisingly none other than his teammate Anthony Davis, who won a ring with LeBron James back in 2020.

Considering the fact that LeBron James and Anthony Davis have always had a close relationship, it left everyone puzzled by Davis simply not even wanting to see the fadeaway shot that led to James becoming the NBA's all-time scoring leader.

Davis recently returned to the roster of the Los Angeles Lakers after being sidelined for several weeks due to an injury. But that's no reason for Davis to choose to sit and not celebrate James' phenomenal achievement.

LeBron may have sensed some tension between him and Davis. A clip of LeBron showing his love for AD also went viral on Twitter.

While there are many theories about the potential reason behind Davis' actions, some of us are just confused. Renowned NBA analyst Bill Simmons is one of us as he tweeted a two-word reaction to the video.

The Los Angeles Lakers already have many troubles on their hands right now. A potential beef between James and Davis could mean the end of the Lakers' current roster and the organization completely blowing up the experiment.

After all, the Lakers are now 25-30, following the heart-wrenching 130-133 defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Anyway, here's Davis' full answer about his reaction to James becoming NBA's all-time scoring leader.
