The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Indiana Pacers 107-105 on Wednesday night, improving to 2-3 on the season. Despite the win, star big man Anthony Davis left the game with an injury.
Davis played just seven minutes. During that time, he was seen grabbing at his left leg.
Dallas Mavericks big man Anthony Davis was slow to get back up the court after Dallas’ last offensive possession and was grabbing for his leg. It looked like he kept grabbing the back of his left leg/heel.

Davis was later ruled to have “left lower leg soreness.” He attempted to return, but head coach Jason Kidd kept him out, not wanting to take any chances.
Davis entered the game already listed with bilateral Achilles tendinopathy. He likely shouldn’t have been playing to begin with. Especially given his injury history.
