Anthony Davis has had a lot of change over the past year and a half. Traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks in February 2025 as part of the blockbuster Luka Doncic deal, Davis put up decent numbers in Dallas.

He averaged 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 29 games, but the fit never clicked. The Mavericks moved him again at the 2026 trade deadline, sending him to the Washington Wizards in a deal centered around role players.

Injuries have slowed him down in Washington, making it another frustrating chapter in what's been a complicated stretch of his career.

Now Davis is closing another door on his time in LA.

Anthony Davis Sells Bel-Air Estate for $32 Million

According to IG Mansions on Instagram, Davis has sold his Bel-Air mansion for $32 million. The property is exactly what one would expect from a home at that price point.

A glass-domed foyer, private theater, game lounge, wine cellar, gym, massage room, barbershop, Olympic-sized pool, tennis court, batting cage, cold plunge, sauna and garage space for up to 30 vehicles.

It's a significant sale for the 10-time NBA All-Star, and one that feels like a clean break from his Lakers era entirely.

Even with the mansion off his hands, Davis hasn't been far from the rumor mill. His name surfaced in offseason trade speculation linking him to a reunion with LeBron James and the Golden State Warriors.

Wizards general manager Will Dawkins shut that down quickly, making it clear Davis is still a core part of what Washington is building.

While working his way back to full health, Davis has also taken on a leadership role within the organization, running offseason workouts and helping the veteran group find its footing behind the scenes.

The Wizards are in rebuild mode and Davis is still their guy. How healthy he can stay will go a long way in determining how serious that rebuild actually becomes.
